The demo page for Ember and Blade is now live, with the demo available to play from July 16th at 7:00 PM PT. Thank you for your patience—we’re thrilled to finally deliver on our promise!

Ember and Blade combines the core excitement of survivors-like games—dominating the battlefield with powerful angelic blessings—with Beat’em Up vibes, allowing you to stylishly defeat waves of enemies similar to Dynasty Warriors.

This demo includes Act 1 “Ashen Meadow,” 12 unique blessings granted by 3 angels, and the Act 1 boss, Baphomet, the Turncoat Beast.

This demo begins as Fenrix Haven, the half-immortal demon hunter, enters the world contained within the Seal created 500 years ago to imprison the Archdemon Asmodeus. After a teleportation spell goes awry, Fenrix finds himself alone, separated from his allies, and briefly encounters a mysterious woman who vanishes without a trace.

Upon arriving at the Sanctuary of Oblivion, Fenrix meets Ariella Ashwood, the guardian of the Seal, and is shocked to discover that she closely resembles the enigmatic woman he saw earlier.

However, Ariella dismisses Fenrix’s account, prompting him to venture into the Ashen Meadow to uncover the truth. Yet, mysteries and dangers alike await Fenrix in the depths of the Ashen Meadow.

Unlike typical survivors-like games, which focus mainly on movement and automatic attacks, Ember and Blade puts combat firmly in your hands, allowing you to actively swing your weapon to stylishly obliterate hordes of enemies.

Rather than simply surviving for extended periods, Ember and Blade encourages you to explore the map, complete side quests to weaken bosses, and strategically collect powerful blessings to enhance your character. Ultimately, your goal is to seek out these bosses, confront them directly, and take them down.

Combined with beautifully crafted visuals and captivating art direction, as well as a story that gradually unfolds with every run, the game transforms repetitive survivors-like gameplay into an engaging journey to uncover the secrets of its world.

Given these differences, our team decided to first collect feedback on the core action gameplay. Therefore, this demo will not include “the Sanctuary of Oblivion” lobby, character progression elements, or the full storyline. These features will be revealed in our next demo later this year.

(We kindly ask those eagerly awaiting these features for your continued patience!)Our team has worked passionately for over a year to bring this game to life. We sincerely hope Ember and Blade resonates with you. Please share your valuable feedback after playing.

Thank you!
